Spay & Neuter
Services
The best way to reduce the population is through spaying and neutering as many pets in our community as possible.
We are proud to be able to partner with Berrien County Animal Services, The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, Animal Aid of Southwestern Michigan, Bissell Pet Foundation's Fix the Future, The Humane Society of Elkhart County and ABC Clinic to provide reduced cost spay/neuter services.
Berrien County has no low cost spay/neuter clinics. Until we are able to build our own, we offer several options where we transport animals to Grand Rapids for Bissell Foundation's Fix the Future or to The Humane Society of Elkhart County. Dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped all in the same day.

To register interest, please fill out the following form (one per animal needing spay/neuter). We will call you with our next available date. Please note that we have a long list of interested people, so it can take a while for us to get back to you.

Typically, drop off is early in the morning, and pick up is in the evening. Times can be variable depending upon which clinic has room for your pet. Please be flexible as all of this is done by volunteers committed to reducing shelter populations.
