Floyd A. Miles III, founder and president of Faith Based Counseling and Addiction Services, PLLC has nearly 30 years of chemical dependency and pastoral counseling experience. Floyd is an ordained minister and has served as the senior pastor of churches in New Haven, Connecticut and Indianapolis, Indiana. Floyd has served as both a prison and hospital chaplain.
Floyd earned his bachelor of science, majoring in counseling and human services at New Hampshire College. He earned his Masters in religious education at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, located in South Hamilton, Mass. Floyd has met the experience and educational requirements to receive the following credentials:

Licensed Clinical Chemical Addiction Counselor

Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor

Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional

Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist-Diplomate.

Floyd is a member of the Texas Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. His specialities include: Addictions & Dependency, Couples & Marriage, Family and Pastoral Counseling. Floyd also mentors and life coaches young men in further understanding their life purpose.
Floyd respects the dignity, worth and uniqueness of every person that he comes in contact.
Floyd’s family include his lovely wife Mary, four children and two grand children.
